Meas. type Description, result
Channel power Power integrated over the sample values defined by a center frequency
and a bandwidth; based on a defined impedance. The result is given in
dBm.
To get best results, enable "Measure all events in each acquisition
"
on page 362, and set the "Limit" to the maximum value. In particular,
these settings are important when measuring pulsed signals.

Occupied bandwidth From the defined center frequency, symmetric sample value pairs to the
left and right are integrated until a user-defined percentage of the total
power is reached. The occupied bandwidth is the difference between
the frequencies at which the requested power was reached.

Bandwidth n dB down bandwidth; the samples to the left and right of the peak
value are analyzed until the n dB threshold is exceeded. The frequen-
cies at which the threshold is exceeded define the limits of the reques-
ted bandwidth.
