Bit rate (CAN) / Arbitration rate (CAN FD)
For CAN buses, the "Bit rate" sets the number of transmitted bits per second.
For CAN FD buses, this parameter is called "Arbitration rate" and sets the bit rate of
the arbitration phase.
The maximum value of this rate is 1 Mbit/s. The bit rate is uniform and fixed for a given
CAN or CAN FD bus.
To select a bit rate from the list of predefined values, tap the button beside the field. To
enter a specific value, open the keypad. The list of predefined values is also available
in the keypad.

Data rate
The setting is available in CAN FD option.
Sets the bit rate of the data phase. The data rate can be equal or higher than the arbi-
tration rate; and it is uniform and fixed for a given CAN FD bus.
To select a data rate from the list of predefined values, tap the button beside the field.
To enter a specific value, open the keypad. The list of predefined values is also availa-
ble in the keypad.
