Figure 19-5: Graphical presentation of the transient response properties
Table 19-6: Transient response
Result Description
Rise time The time needed for the signal to change from 10% to 90% of the specified
signal high.
Overshoot level The maximum swing level above the signal high.
Settling time The time elapsed from the trigger event to the time the output enters and
remains within the tube tolerance band.
Peak time The time needed for the response to reach the first peak of the overshoot.
Delay to trigger The time needed for the response to reach half of the signal high value, after
the trigger event.
The following remote commands are used for handling the measurement results:

19.6.2.2 Configuring transient response
For details of the configuration settings, see Chapter 19.6.2.3, "Transient response set-
tings", on page 1192.
1. Select "Analysis" > "Power".
2. Under "Output", select "Transient Response".
3. Connect one or more voltage probes and the current probe to the oscilloscope.
4. Deskew the probes as described in Chapter 19.1.1.1, "Auto deskew",
on page 1123.
5. Connect the probes to the DUT as shown in the "Channels" tab:
