13.23.1 D-PHY basics
A D-PHY interface consists of one clock lane and up to four data lanes. The D-PHY
data lanes have two operational modes:
A high speed mode (HS): differential signal with a data rate of 80 Mbps to
1.5GHz.This mode is used for the transmission of large volumes of information.
A low power mode (LP): single-ended signal with a data rate < 10 Mbps. This
mode is used for conserving power .
D-PHY provides a framework for other protocols such as the Display Serial Interface
(DSI) and Camera Serial Interface (CSI-2).
