rigger controls
The keys and knob in the T
rigger functional block adjust the trigger and start or stop
acquisition.
[Level]
The rotary knob sets the trigger level for all trigger types. T
urn clockwise to move up
the trigger level. Press the knob to set the trigger level to 50% of the signal amplitude.
If the selected trigger type requires two trigger levels - upper and lower level - press
the knob to toggle between the two levels.
[Auto Norm]
Toggles the trigger mode between
"Auto" and "Normal". The current setting is shown
on the trigger label.
Auto
The instrument triggers repeatedly after a time interval if the trigger
conditions are not fulfilled.
Norm
The instrument acquires a waveform only if a trigger occurs. The
"Norm" LED lights up in green.

[Source]
Opens a dialog box where you can select the trigger source. Press the key again to
switch the source. The key lights up in the color of the selected trigger source.

[Slope]
Toggles the trigger slope or trigger polarity
, dependent on the trigger type. The current
setting is shown on the trigger label.
[Run Stop]
Starts and stops the continuous acquisition. The
[Run Stop] key lights green when the
acquisition is running. When the acquisition is stopped, the key lights red.
