Removal
1. Disconnect the Convenience Stapler Harness from the back of the Convenience Stapler.
2. Remove the bottom plate from the Convenience Stapler (Figur
e 1).
3. Remove the Convenience Stapler Internal DC Harness (Figure
2).

Replacement
1. Install the new Convenience Stapler Internal DC Harness.
2. Reconnect the stapler connector to the PWB.
3. Reinstall the bottom plate.
4. Connect the Convenience Stapler Harness to
the Convenience Stapler.
5. Check the operation of the Convenience Stapler by removing the Staple Cartridge and
closing the Conveni
ence Stapler Cover. The red LED should be illuminated.

Remove the screws (3).

Carefully separate the
bottom plate just enough
to access the connector
for the stapler.

Disconnect the stapler
connector from the
PWB.

Disconnect the
connectors.

Remove the harness
