REP 15.2.17 Eject Clamp Sensor

Removal
WARNING
To avoid personal injury or shock, disconnect the Finisher cable connector. Switch off
the machine power and disconnect the machine Power Cord.
1. Switch off the printer power and disconnect the AC Power Cord.
2. Remove the Rear Lower Cover (REP 15.3.
15).
3. Remove the Eject Clamp Sensor (Figure 1).

Remove the wire harnesses from the wire clamps that are attached to the Eject
Bracket.
2.
Remove the screw (1) securing the Eject Clamp Sensor Bracket to the Eject Bracket,
and remov
e the Sensor Bracket, along with Sensor.
3. Disconnect P/J10
54 from the Sensor.
4. Press in and release the Sensor latches that secure the Sensor to the Bracket, and
remove t
he Sensor.

Replacement
1. Position the Eject Clamp Sensor into the Eject Clamp Sensor Bracket.
2. Reconnect P/J
1054 to the Sensor.
3. Reinstall the Eject Clamp Sensor Bracket onto t
he Eject Bracket. Use the screw (1) to
secure the Sensor Bracket.
4. Reinstall the wire harnesses to the wire clamps
that are attached to the Eject Bracket.
5. Reinstall the Rear Lower Cover.
