REP 12.8.1 Registration Pinch Roll

Removal
WARNING
Turn power off and disconnect the power plug.
NOTE: Do not damage or scratch the surface of the Registration Pinch Roll. (Scratches may
cause skew
ing.)
1. Remove the following parts:
a. Front Cover (PL 12.2
)
b. Rear Cover PL 12.1)

Remove the Registration Gate Solenoid (REP 12.2
.2).
3. Remove the Lower Chute (Figu
re 1).
1. Remove the E-clip.
2. Remove the pulley.
3. Remove the screws (4).
4. Remove the Lower Chute.

NOT
E: When removing the gate, make sure not to lose the springs (2) since the springs
may jump
out.
