ADJ. 3.4.1 Full Rate/Half Rate Carriage Position

Purpose
To adjust positional relationships between the Full and Half Rate Carriages.
Adjustment
WARNING
Turn power off and disconnect the power plug.
1. Open the Platen Cover.
2. Remove the Platen Glass (REP 3
.1.1).
3. Prepare the positional jigs (Figu
re 1).
1. Remove the screws (4).
2. Remove the jigs (4).

4. Align the Half Rate Carriage jig hole with the rail jig hole (front/rear) (Figu
re 2).

5. Install the jigs on the Half Rate Carriage (front/rear) (Figure 3
).
1. Install the jigs (front/rear).
2. Lock the jigs with the screws.
