Component Control (dC330 UI Diagnostics), Print
General Procedures
Reissue
Component Control (dC330 UI Diagnostics)
Purpose
Checks the Input/Output of each component by specifying the Chain-Link Number.
NOTE: Functional comparison between the UI Diagnostics and the PWS Diagnostics:
1. UI Diag.: No module specification. All direct
code specification.
2. Counter:
a. Input/Output display - Input: The count is increased every time the “High/Low Level”
changes. T
he maximum count is 256. After reaching the maximum count, the
counter starts from 0.
3. Number of simultaneous executions:
a. 12 (Same as PWS). If the number exceeds 12, the oldest code is stopped.
4. Other message:
a. A warning message is displayed on the UI when the following occurs:
Number of simultaneous executions exceeded 12 and you
pressed Start.
You stopped a code that is not being executed or displayed the status.
You specified a cycle for the code that cannot be cycled.
The combination of a code that has already been executed and the new code is
illegal.
Y
ou specified an undefined code.
You stopped the code from being executed.
Procedure
1. Enter the UI Diagnostics Mode. Refer to How to Enter/Exit the UI (IOT) Diagnostics.
2. Select Com
ponent Control in the “Diagnostics Setup Screen.”
3. Select the Input
Number Button on the “UI Screen”.
4. See the “dC330 Code List (Input), (Output)”, and enter an appropriate Cha
in-Link No.
NOTE: Selecting the “Input Number Button” allows yo
u to enter a number from the ten-
key pad.
CAUTION
Enter a correct number. (Make sure you have entered a correct number before you execute the
func
tion. If you enter an invalid number, a secondary problem will occur.)
5. Select the Star
t Button.
The Status Screen shows “Low/High (Input)” or “ON/Off (Output).
6. To stop the operation, select the Stop B
utton.
7. After the operation, allInput/Output tasks being executed will stop.The system returns to
the “Diagnos
tics Setup Screen.”
Print (dC612 Test Pattern UI Diagnostics)
Purpose
Provides a Print Pattern for “Setup” and “Diagnostics”, performing a faster and more efficient
service.
NOTE: Functional comparison between the UI Diagnostics and the PWS Diagnostics:
UI Diag. restrictions:
1. Paper type cannot be specified (Normal paper - Fixed)
2. Tray cannot be specified (Normal paper - Fixed)
3. Duplex cannot be specified (Normal paper - Fixed)
4. Half-tone Cin%=20% fixed
5. You cannot select a pattern with the “Color Test Pattern.” You must enter a number from

he “Code
Table.”
Procedure
1. Enter the UI Diagnostics Mode. Refer to How to Enter/Exit the UI (IOT) Diagnostics.
2. Select Print
in the “Diagnostics Setup Screen.”
3. Select a Test Patt
ern to output in the “Test Pattern Print List” and set the following on the
screen:
a. Categor
y: IOT (Image output) or IPS (Image process)
b. Pattern No: 1-30(IOT), 1-56(IPS)
c. Mode: 4C, 3C, K, Y, M, C, R, G, B
4. Selec
t the Star
t Button.
5. After the operation completes, select Clos
e and return to the “Diagnostics Setup Screen.”
