Principles of Operation
There are two possible document path faults that can be de
termined by the size sensing sys-
tem. The following message is displayed by the IOT. “The Document Feeder has a failure”. This
message
is displayed when:
• The Front and Rear Size Sensors detect a document and the DADF is not in use.
• The Front and Rear Size Sensor detects a document
, but the Registration Sensor does
not detect a document.
