You may then select a function icon (i.e. Message Com-
pose
, Font Create) to proceed. System setup proce-
dures are provided in the next paragraph. These should
be reviewed if this is the first time the system has been
operated!

Through the Setup menu, your system can be customized
to fit your needs and the technical needs of the studio.
Time/Date, User Mode, Video Setup, etc. are all set in
this menu. Please note that the setup menu may appear
slightly different from system to system.
To enter the Setup menu:
• From the Loader menu, press
SET-UP or click on the
right side of the screen to display the function icons,
as shown below in Figure 3-8.
• To toggle between the pages of the menu, press
P or
select the
Next Page icon.
• To exit the Program Loader Setup menu, press
Q,
CNTL or select the Quit icon.
• The mouse is supported in the Program Loader Setup
menu, and the menus that are accessed by the Pro-
gram Loader Setup menu functions. Clicking on a
field can, where applicable, highlight a field, activate
a function or toggle through choices. Clicking on an
arrow field toggles through choices as well. You can
also click and hold the mouse button on a slider, then
drag the slider (e.g. in
Set Video) to adjust numerical
value.
