Drop Off can be applied separately, in different quanti-
ties, to edge or character body. The default value is
0 (no
Drop Off).
• Press the
SHIFT CHAR + Í to increase Transpar-
ency, or the
SHIFT CHAR + Ì to reduce Transpar-
ency. Or, while the field is highlighted, press
CLR,
enter a value, then press
.
Size Changes the size of the body or edge effect, within sys-
tem memory capacities.
• Increase the size by pressing
SHIFT CHAR + Î;
shrink it by pressing
SHIFT CHAR + Ï. Or, while
the field is highlighted, press
CLR, enter a value,
then press
. The size change is proportional - the
ratio of height to width does not change.
Remove Char During conversion, you can specify that the body of the
character be removed and set to transparent after any fill
specification has been applied

• Press C or select Cnvrt Font to open the Advanced
Font Convert menu (Figure 13-26).
