Text is recorded from the Foreground buffer, and
RGB(A) graphics are recorded from the Background
buffer of the same EEFB. Output Percentage levels can
be set independently for the Foreground and the Back-
ground. To record a Single EEFB Text & Graphics Mes-
sage:
[ ] 1. Enter the Message Compose main menu, then
press
CNTL 3 if the Single EEFB Text &
Graphics Message Function has not been
activated.
Note: This step not required for
MAXINE! systems.
[ ] 2. Read text into the Foreground.
[ ] 3. Read graphics into the Background.
NOTE
You cannot record graphics images
into the Foreground buffer unless
they have been converted into
characters in a Machine Font.

Text can be recorded in both the
Foreground and Background.
However, when text is recorded in
the Background by using Text &
Graphics record, it becomes part of
the RGB(A) image, and cannot be
edited using Message Compose
text editing functions.
All messages containing text and/or
graphics in the Foreground and
Background must be recorded
using the Text & Graphics record
(Step 7 - CNTL RCD G).
