Multiple Effects 17-38 Revision D
When successive Multiple Effects messages containing
the same Transform Script are read, that Transform Script
is not reloaded for each Multiple Effects message read.
This speeds up execution time.
If an error warning is generated because an invalid
parameter(s) has been entered, pressing
Y executes the
remaining effects that were entered properly. For exam-
ple if the following window (Figure 17-13) is displayed,
all effects except
FX1 are executed.

If Mix is activated, but its Mesg field is left blank, a Mix
Effect between the buffers assigned to CHANNEL A and
CHANNEL B executes when Multiple Effects is executed.
If
Mix is activated, and the Mesg field contains a mes-
sage ID number, a Mix Effect between the buffers
assigned to CHANNEL A and CHANNEL B executes
when Multiple Effects is executed. The message desig-
nated in the
Mix Mesg field also transitions as per the
Mix settings.
To stop Multiple Effects execution:
• Press
ESC.

If Bkg Select is used to display a full screen background
from PREVIEW, Transform Control must be set to
Xform Pri, otherwise the background will cover the
Transform.
