The message in the Read Next buffer is
replaces the message that was on the Edit
Monitor, and the following message is loaded
into the Read Next buffer.
[ ] 5. Press
READ NEXT as many times as need be to
display the sequence of messages.
[ ] 6. Press any other key (or
READ NEXT twice) to
stop searching at end of sequence.

When using Read Effects (Section 15), you may want to
execute
READ NEXT using out-of-sequence messages.
To load, then display an out-of sequence message:
[ ] 1. Press
CLR, then enter the ID number of the
message that you want loaded into the Read
Next buffer. Press
READ NEXT.
The message is loaded into the Read Next
buffer.
Read next buffer ready is displayed
on the Prompt Line.
[ ] 2. Press
READ NEXT. The message assigned the
next ascending ID number is loaded into the
Read Next buffer.
Read next buffer ready is
displayed on the Prompt Line.
• If you press
READ NEXT again at this
point, the message loaded into the Read
Next buffer is displayed.
• If, however, you want to display another
out-of-sequence message, the above proce-
dure must be repeated.
[ ] 3. Repeat this operation as many times as
necessary.
