About RGB Tools: RGB Tools is supplied with the
Video Input Module, and is accessed by pressing CNTL
G or by selecting the RGB Tools function icon. If you
have already installed the Image Tools software option,
its icon replaces the RGB Tools function icon in the Mes-
sage Compose main menu. Image Tools is then accessed
by pressing CNTL G or selecting the Image Tools icon;
RGB Tools is accessed by pressing CNTL K or by select-
ing the RGB Tools icon. RGB Tools is described in Sec-
tion 21 of this manual. Image Tools is described in a
separate manual supplied with the option (Pub. No.
2A01988).
Accessing Video Input: Video Input is accessible either
from the Message Compose main menu; the Read Effects
main menu on systems equipped with Extended Effects
Frame Buffers (§15.8.5); RGB Tools (Section 21);
Image Tools; or IMAGESTOR! applications.

Video Input supports SCSI Express
on all systems running Message
Compose version 9.0 and later;
MAX!> and MAXINE! systems running
Message Compose version 4.0 and
later; and on iNFiNiT! systems in
Local or Remote mode that are
running both WiNFiNiT! version 1.2
and Message Compose 4.3w.
Captured images can be recorded as RGB images, then
recorded to an IMAGESTOR! database as a Still; or
recorded directly to a SCSI Express drive, which auto-
matically converts the image into a Still. See the IMAG-
