The End Point can also be set in the Multiple Effects
Time Line window. See §17.7 for more information.

Len indicates the total length of execution in fields for a
particular effect.
Len is automatically determined by
subtracting the Start value from the End value.
1 second = 60 fields NTSC or PAL-M
1 second = 50 fields PAL
To enter or change Length:
[ ] 1. Place the cursor on the desired buffer or

row, in the Len column.
[ ] 2. Press
CLR. Enter a Length using the Address
Keypad, then press

Different types of effects have different minimum and
maximum lengths:
•
2 to 300 fields if executing a Read Effect (Wipe,
Push, Revl, Hide, Dislv, Cut).
The minimum length of
2 reflects the fact that 2
fields of video make up 1 frame of video. Each
of these effects can be executed as single frame
transitions. If a length of less than
2 is entered,
the following message appears when Multiple
Effects is executed:
