To immediately terminate a Serial Crawl and exit to the
Message Compose main menu:
• Press
ESC on the iNFINiT! Family system, or send
decimal
207 followed by decimal 3 (Esc) from the
PC. Any data in the Crawl buffer is lost.

To send an End-of-Data command and exit Serial Crawl
at any time:
• Press
Ctrl + B on the external or send decimal

. The Serial Crawl continues until the Crawl
buffer empties. Serial Crawl is exited, and the
Message Compose main menu is displayed.

Fade has two applications:
•Fades
CHYRON VIDEO in and/or out over program
video.
• Sets the Output Percentage level of
CHYRON VIDEO
that will be keyed over program video.
It is NOT possible to execute a Fade using
CHYRON
VIDEO
Output Percentage levels set at other than 0% or
100%. If you need to fade in to an Output Percentage
level other than
100% , or fade out to an Output Percent-
age level other than
0% , refer to Section 16.

Fade out/in is a two step procedure. First, the Fade Con-
trol is set, then it is applied to prerecorded messages.
