If the TrueType font has just been imported, and the
Flash Font menu is still open:
[ ] 1. Finish setting Flash Font parameters, then quit
the Flash Font menu. Message Compose is
now in Flash Font Typing Mode.
[ ] 2. To type a character not on the Character
Placement Table, press
ALT, the code, then a.
For example, to type the character
é, press ALT
0233 a
. Note that characters that are in the
Character Placement Table can also be typed
using these codes, but there is no reason to do so.
All numerical information must be entered
using the Address Keypad.
When typing the character in a PC application,
Alt must be held while 0243 is pressed. When
in Message Compose, press and release
Alt,
then press
0243 a. This holds no matter which
keyboard is used - an iNFiNiT! Family
keyboard, a KeyPC or a PC keyboard.
If the TrueType Master Font is already stored:
• Enter the Flash Font menu, then enter the Master
Font ID number in the
Font: field. Continue with
Steps 1 and 2 above.
If a recorded message contains a TrueType Flash Font:
[ ] 1. From the Message Compose main menu, read
the message.
[ ] 2. Place the cursor on one of the Flash Font
characters, then press
COLOR FONT. The
Flash Font is loaded.
[ ] 3. Continue with Steps 1 and 2 in the first
procedure.
