[ ] 1. While in the Message Compose main menu,
place the edit cursor on a character, word, or
row you want to change. To change a word or
a character, the cursor can be on any character
except a space.
[ ] 2. Press
ALT CNVRT (FLASH) to display the
Advanced Font Convert window (Figure 13-
26).
The Master Font data for the displayed text is read at this
point. If the Master Font cannot be found an error mes-
sage is displayed. If data is found, the selected text on
the Edit Monitor changes to an outline form.
In each the following steps, first highlight the appropriate
field, then enter the appropriate data.
[ ] 3. Select a
Mode: - Char (character), Word
(word), or Row (row).
[ ] 4. Enter a
Text Size:. Press SHIFT CHAR + Î or
Ï to either expand and or shrink the text size.
To change the size in increments other than
10,
press
CLR, then enter a value on the Address
Keypad.
[ ] 5. Select Edge
Type: and Direction:
[ ] 6. To add or delete an Edge from the displayed
text, enter the
Size Change: field, then press
SHIFT CHAR + Î or Ï to either expand and
or shrink the edge.
[ ] 7. Set
Italic:, Aspect:, Rotation:, and/or
(optional)
3D attributes.
[ ] 8. Convert the text.
Transparency and Shading
are ignored for 3D conversions
