Twelve Master Fonts are supplied with the system, and
more than 1,500 additional fonts are available. These
fonts are converted using built-in utilities to any size
between 10 and 400 scanlines, with any characteristics
you choose, while maintaining full character resolution.
(Converted fonts for use on-air are called Machine Fonts.)
Font conversion can be done online in near real time
(Flash Font, described in Section 13), or offline as a batch
job (using Font Create Utility, described in Section 18).
Up to 16 of these Machine Fonts can be loaded and dis-
played simultaneously.

Eight bits of color data each for red, green, blue, and
alpha give the systems the potential to produce over 16.7
million colors, with 256 levels of anti-aliasing or trans-
parency. Images created with the optional Video Input
Module are displayed in full 32 bit color with all 16.7
million colors and 256 levels of transparency active
simultaneously.

Messages and Machine Fonts created on one iNFiNiT!
Family system are readable by any system; thus a mes-
sage created using a MAXINE! may be read using a
MAX!> or iNFiNiT! system providing the correct font is
present.
