NOTE
The power-up default video and sync
settings are read from a file named
SYNC.DEF.
To change the default setting, save
the new settings using this file name.
To return any of the sliders to its default setting:
• Select the slider and press the
CLR key.
To recall sync settings:
• Press
READ while in the Sync Set-up window, then
enter the filename and press


• Press B or select the Reboot icon to clear all current
activities (including suspended programs), and
restart the system. The power up diagnostics are re-
run during this procedure. The Program Loader
menu appears after the system is rebooted.

The serial port must be set to accommodate a connected
external device. To set the serial port:

C or select the Set Com icon. The Set
Communication menu is displayed.
