Revision D 6-3 Message Compose Basics
NOTE
Whenever Message Compose is
loaded, the Palette and Tabs set in the
directory defaults are updated in all
frame buffers.
See Section 10 and
Section 7 respectively for information
on Palettes and Tabs; and §8.2.2.4 for
information on setting directory
defaults.

To quickly load fonts into Message Compose:
[ ] 1. Press
CNTL F.
[ ] 2. To scroll through the list, use the cursor
ÎÏ
keys; or the mouse on the scroll bar control on
the right side of the display. When the font you
want to use is highlighted, press a Font Key on
the keyboard to load the highlighted font. The
Font Keys, numbered
1 - 8, are located in a
row directly above the Color Keys. The
Prompt Line then shows that the selected font
is being loaded into a specific Font Key.
[ ] 3. Repeat as necessary with other Font Keys, then
press
CNTL to exit. You can now press a Font
Key, and start typing.
The system can have 16 fonts loaded at one time. To
access Font Keys
9 - 16, press ALT followed by a Font
Key. Figure 6-3 shows the Message Compose Main
Menu with fonts loaded.
