A color with an intensity of 0 is technically no longer a
color, but is the total absence of color, or black.

The system can produce an almost unlimited number of
colors. If you select one hue, the number of colors possi-
ble from that single hue is the product of 254 saturations
and 254 intensities, or 64,516 possible colors that can be
created from one hue. Since there are 360 hues, millions
of colors are can be created!

There are some combinations of color values that can
produce colors that exceed the maximum composite
video signal levels permitted by the broadcast standard.
The iNFiNiT! Family system attempts to detect these
conditions.
