Chyron Motion Files (CMFs) are
supported by iNFiNiT!/060, MAX!>
and MAXINE! systems equipped with
SCSI Express Extended Effects
Frame Buffers. CLYPS buffers, which
are necessary to capture and play
back JPEG video and key, are
available only to iNFiNiT!.
CLYPS and non-CLYPS buffers cannot
be mixed in the same system.
A Chyron Motion File (CMF) is a series of video images
(Stills) up to 1/4 full screen in size. A CMF can be read
and executed from within Message Compose; the Total
Motion Control Panel menu; Multiple Effects; a Function
Key; Intelligent Interface; or from IMAGESTOR!, where
it can be added to a database and executed from a Play
List. CMF is supported in systems equipped with at
least one SCSI Express drive with SCSI Express Extended
Effects Frame Buffer or CLYPS-Capable Frame Buffers,
on iNFiNiT !060, MAX!>, and MAXINE! systems.
PC Flipbook supports CMFs.

CLYPS files are full-screen, JPEG-compressed video
files, which can be read and executed from within Mes-
sage Compose; the Total Motion Control Panel menu;
Multiple Effects; a Function Key; or Intelligent Inter-
face.
A CLYPS JPEG video file can be recorded in conjunction
with a separate JPEG Key file. When played back, the
Key file is applied to the Video file.
