message is read first. So, a message such as Transform
may execute and take control before the Background
message is read.
The following restrictions apply:
Standard Roll messages can be read but must be
manually executed. To automatically execute a Stan-
dard Roll, it must be from within a Function Key
message that is recorded as the Foreground or Back-
ground message.
Special Rolls and Crawls can not be specified as they
both use the Foreground and Background buffers to
execute.
CMF animations and JPEG files cannot be specified.
If a Transform message is specified, it should be
placed in the Background buffer, as the Foreground
is read first. If placed in the Foreground, the Trans-
form is read first, and executes before the Back-
ground is read.
Please see §15.8 for complete information on Extended
Effects Frame Buffers.
