Advanced Read FX 15-18 Revision D
The following Reveals are available:
Horizontal Reveal:
New image is uncovered
(revealed) from the left (
Reverse: Off) or right
(
Reverse: On) edge of the screen, as the old
image moves off the screen at the opposite edge.
Vertical Reveal:
New image is uncovered
(revealed) from the top (
Reverse: Off) or bottom
(
Reverse: On) edge of the screen, as the old
image moves off the screen at the opposite edge.
Row Reveal:
Allows each of up to 24 new
rows to independently be uncovered (revealed)
from the bottom (
Up), top (Down), Left, or
Right off the screen. The old rows leave the
opposite edges of the row (
Up or Down) or the
screen (
Left or Right). A row can also be Fixed.
When the Pattern is executed, the
Fixed row
remains on screen until the transition is
complete, then the
Fixed row is instantly
replaced by the new text row. These
designations are set using the Row Menu
(§15.4). The
Reverse: Off/On field is not used
for this effect.

A Hide covers, or “hides” the old image on screen with a
new image. The new image moves on screen to cover the
old image. Only the new image moves. Transition Pat-
terns
A, B, and F - J are available to Hide. Transition
Patterns
G - J execute exactly as in Wipe (§15.5.1).
Transition Patterns
A, B, I, and J treat a message as a full
screen image. Using Transition Patterns
F - H, rows of
text can be controlled individually using the Row Menu
(§15.4).
