when you return to the Message Compose main menu, the
MESSAGE directory does not have to match the
MACHINE directory.
NOTE
If a font directory becomes invalid
(e.g. due to removal of removable
media or by setting Auto Change Font
Dir to Y in Directory Defaults),
Message Compose falls back on the
system default font directory (e.g. C/
MAX, C/MAXINE, C/INFINIT), so that it
is possible to re-access the Font Load
Utility menu. If the boot volume is not
valid, the system falls back on the
current font directory volume.

To exit from the Font Directory back to the Message
Compose main menu:
• Press
CNTL or Q, or select Quit.

To list the contents of the 16 Font Keys (Figure 6-10)
while in the Font Load menu:
• Select the
Fnts Loaded icon or press F. The Fonts
Loaded menu is displayed.
