[ ] 2. Using the cursor keys, move the edit cursor to
a point on the existing outline, then press the
SPACE BAR. The distance the cursor moves
with each keystroke is based on the Address
Keypad increment (§21.13.2.3). Using the
cursor keys, drag the point to its new location,
then press the
SPACE BAR. Repeat this step
as necessary to adjust lines.

Q to exit and return to the Image Cut
Control window.

To set the Address Keypad Increment, which is the num-
ber of pixels (horizontally) or scanlines (vertically) that
the cursor moves with each cursor keystroke:
• While in a Cut Control function, enter a value using
the Address Keypad. The cursor moves at the new
increment. Once the Cut Control function is exited,
the increment reverts to the default as set in Directory
Defaults (§8.2.2.4).

Self Key allows you to generate an antialiased key for an
object. This object can be the result of using the Matte
Tools
Image Cut function, or it can be an object like a
logo created using the Logo Compose option.
Use Self Key after an object has been defined using
Image Cut, or by importing it from a different file. If an
object is to be camera-captured into the frame buffer, IT
MUST BE PLACED ON BLACK.
[ ] 1. Before entering the Self Key Control window,
display an RGB image in the displaying buffer.
[ ] 2. Press
K or select Self Key to display the Self
Key Control menu.
