To activate the Single EEFB Text & Graphics Message
feature:

Text is recorded in one frame buffer; and graphics are
recorded in the next available frame buffer. For example,
to record a two frame buffer Text & Graphics message in
CHANNELS A and B:
[ ] 1. Set CHANNEL assignments in the Mix menu
(§16.7), so that one frame buffer is in
CHANNEL A, and a separate one is in
CHANNEL B.
[ ] 2. Read text into the frame buffer that is assigned
to CHANNEL A (the topmost CHANNEL).
NOTE
Text must be recorded over
graphics - not under.
[ ] 3. Read graphics into the frame buffer that is
assigned to CHANNEL B.
