To squeeze or expand a word:
[ ] 1. Place the cursor on any character in the
selected word.
[ ] 2. Press
CNTL.
[ ] 3. Press and hold the
SHIFT PAGE key, then press
Ì or Í to squeeze or expand the word.
The first character of the word remains stationary. All
other characters squeeze or expand towards/away from
the word. All spacings change.

To squeeze or expand a row horizontally or inter-row
spacing vertically:
[ ] 1. Place the cursor anywhere on the row of text.
[ ] 2. Press
CNTL.
[ ] 3. Press and hold the
SHIFT ROW key, then press
Ì or Í to squeeze or expand a row; or press
Î or Ï to squeeze or expand inter-row spacing
from the row that the cursor is on down.
The spaces between characters in the row or the between
the rows themselves expand evenly. All characters in the
row shift in a ÌÍ operation.
