The Mix Settings window (Figure 17-7) is similar in
operation to the Mix Settings window in the Mix Effects
main menu described in §16.7. Channel and buffer
assignments as well as Output Percentage (similar to
transparency) levels (§16.5.5) of CHANNELS A and B
can be individually set in the Multiple Effects Mix Set-
tings window, as can the edge softness (
Soft - §16.5.2) of
the transitions.
When
Mix is activated in the Multiple Effects main menu,
two buffer
Wipes (§16.6.3) and Fades (§16.6.1) become
available. Additionally,
Key Enable (§16.10), Bkg
Select
(§16.11), and Soft Mask (§16.12) can be set.
Note that Mix Control settings that are set in the Mix Set-
tings window in the Mix Effects main menu (§16.7) are
reflected in the Mix Settings window in Multiple Effects
main menu and vice versa. The
Soft setting is reflected
as well.
The
Recall Pre and Row Menu functions (§17.3) are not
available to the Mix Settings window (Figure 17-7).
