Advanced Playback 9-34 Revision D
Full Page (§8.4.2), Text Only (§), End of Text (§8.5.2) or
Single Row (§8.5.3) messages can be crawled, as well as
RGB or RGB(A) that have been converted into Machine
Font characters.
2
In addition, Flash Font characters (Sec-
tion 13) can be used in a Crawl.
NOTE
The background and palette that are
part of a crawled message do NOT
appear in a Crawl. To crawl over a
background, the desired background
must be displayed on screen, and then
the Crawl can be executed over it.

There are two types of Crawls: Single Row Crawls and
Multi-Row Crawls.
In a Single Row, all text crawls on one row, regardless of
how many rows were in the original message. In a Multi-
Row Crawl, the number of rows specified in the Crawl
Control Buffer List is crawled. The following illustrates
how this works. Both examples use the same messages.
2. See §21.8 - RGB Tools Font Utility (F), the Image Tools Manual
(Pub. No. 2A01988), or the Logo Compose Manual (Pub. No. 2A01990)
for information about converting RGB(A) images into Machine Font char-
acters.
