the mouse. Double clicking in the list replaces the mis-
spelled word by the highlighted word, then the program
searches for the next misspelled word on the Edit Moni-
tor screen. In addition, you can enter a replacement word
directly in the
Replace Word: field, then press CNTL R.

Other functions are available in Spell Check:
Replace (CNTL R): Replace the misspelled word with
the replacement word.
Replace All (CNTL L): Replace the misspelled word
with the replacement word in this and all further occur-
rences of the misspelled word on the screen.
Skip (CNTL S): Skip this word.
Skip All (CNTL A): Skip the misspelled word in this and
all further occurrences of the misspelled word on the
screen.
Add to Dictionary (CNTL D): Add the misspelled word
to the Application dictionary.
Edit Dictionary (CNTL E): This function allows the user
to view the words contained in the Application (user
defined) dictionary in a sorted alphabetical order and add,
delete or modify a word. The following menu (Figure 22-
2) is displayed on the Prompts Monitor.
