Gamma The Gamma selection selects an inverse gamma correc-
tion value used by the video input. This item cycles
between the values
1.0 (no gamma correction), 1.4, 1.8,
and
2.2. This feature can be used to remove gamma cor-
rection before capturing into the Frame Buffer. This
allows for further processing of a captured image by
MAXINE! (e.g. using Image Tools) in a linear color
space without gamma correction non-linearities. Note
that gamma correction can be restored on the 601 outputs
through the Video Setup menu (described in §3.6.4).
Press the
SPACE BAR to cycle through the Gamma
correction values.
Phase The Horizontal Phase slider allows the horizontal phase
of the 601 video inputs to be adjusted with respect to the
MAXINE! timing, in single-pixel increments. Slider
controls may be set in one of four ways:
SHIFT CHAR + Ì or Í for one-pixel adjustments
SHIFT + SHIFT CHAR + Ì or Í for pixel adjust-
ments based on keypad entry
Address Keypad entry
Mouse click/drag.
