All systems have at least the following four program
icons on the right side of the menu, in the order (from top
to bottom) that they were copied to the hard disk:

If you have optional programs (Networking, Advanced
Font, etc.), these appear as additional icons in the col-
umn. Use the cursor keys to select a program, then press
the
SPACE BAR or
to load the program. The icon for
the program currently loaded is highlighted, and the
name and version of the program is shown at the top of
the Prompts Monitor. The top icon is already highlighted
when you first enter the Program Loader menu.

These icons appear after you load a program, and change
as you move around within the program. The functions
shown on the icons are activated by either pressing the
CNTL key followed by the letter within the icon, or by
selecting the icon using the mouse.
NOTE
Some applications do not support the
mouse.
Message
Compose
Font
Create
Disk
Utils
Fonts by
Wire
Loads the Message Compose program.
Use Message Compose to create, edit, store and recall messages.
Loads the Font Create program. Use Font Create to make machine
fonts from master fonts, and to create custom placement tables.
Use Disk Utility to list, rename, copy, or delete files and directories,
format disks, translate files, and change drive configuration.
Loads the Fonts by Wire program, allowing you to order and
download master fonts from CHYRON.

handbook (supplied with your system) for more information.
