Slow Reveal allows you to display recorded messages
one character at a time in a typewriter-like effect. Char-
acters appear from left to right, and from top to bottom.
Full Page (§8.4.2), Slow Reveal (§9.7.4.1), Text Only
(§), End of Text (§8.5.2) or Single Row (§8.5.3) mes-
sages can be displayed using Slow Reveal. There are
three types of Slow Reveals:

The screen is not cleared on entry or
exit from Slow Reveal. This feature
allows for a sequence of separate
messages to be slow revealed,
resulting in an accumulation of text
Slow Reveal
(§9.7.2)
A message is revealed character by character from
left to right and top to bottom, for the entire length of
the message.
Line-by-Line Slow
Reveal (§9.7.3)
A message is revealed character by character, but
you control when each line in the message is
revealed. This can be effective when used for dis-
playing weather reports, sports scores, or any text
display that has to be timed to an anchor’s read.
Two Part Slow
Reveal
(§9.7.4)
The upper portion of the message is read normally;
then the lower portion is revealed. This is effective
when used for displaying a question and answer on
screen. This type of message must be recorded as
a Slow Reveal message.
