Total Motion Control 23-26 Revision D
&DSWXUH&
Once Video In has been enabled, a video clip can be cap-
tured. The
Capture function operates just like the
Record and Stop buttons on a tape recorder. When the
Capture function is enabled, the incoming video is tem-
porarily saved to the disk space that was allotted in the
Capture Limit window. When the
Capture function is
disabled, the process stops. After the capture, the Start
point, End point and Loops can be set, and the clip can be
recorded to a SCSI Express drive as a Chyron Motion
File (CMF). Depending on the situation, Steps 2 and 3
can be reversed in order.
NOTE
Each time a Capture is executed on
the same drive, it overwrites the
previous Capture. To preserve a
Capture, it must be recorded to a
Chyron Motion File (CMF), or it will be
erased by the following Capture.
There can be only one capture file on
a system at any time, even though the
system may be equipped with more
than one SCSI Express drive.

[ ] 1. If the system is equipped with CLYPS buffers,
