Keyboard [ ] 1. From within the Image Cut Control menu,
press
C; or select Create Outline then press
. The cursor moves to the Edit Monitor.
[ ] 2. Use the cursor keys to position the edit cursor.
The distance the cursor moves with each
keystroke is based on the Address Keypad
increment (§21.13.2.3).
[ ] 3.
Press the SPACE BAR to start a line, then
use the cursor keys to draw the line.
[ ] 4. Press the SPACE BAR to end the line and
start another. Repeat as necessary to draw
new lines
.
[ ] 5. To close the outline, press the SPACE BAR
to end the next to last line, then press Q. A
final line is automatically drawn
connecting the last point to the first point,
thus closing the outline. The cursor returns
to the Prompts Monitor.

Mouse [ ] 1. From within the Image Cut Control menu,
click
Adjust Outline. The mouse cursor
moves to the Edit Monitor.
[ ] 2. Click the left mouse button on an end point of
a line in the existing outline. Hold down the
left mouse button and drag the point as needed,
then release the button to fix the point in its
new location. Repeat this step as necessary to
adjust lines.
[ ] 3. Click the right mouse button to exit and return
to the Image Cut Control window.

A; or select Adjust Outline then press
. The cursor moves to the Edit Monitor.
