The output of a buffer can be turned Off and On to allow
examination of your work in each buffer. To turn Off the
output of a buffer:
[ ] 1. If you are not already working in the buffer
you want to turn Off, use the
CHNG or CNTL
CHNG
function to make the buffer active.
[ ] 2. Press
CNTL X. The output of the active buffer
is no longer displayed.
NOTE
If you attempt to type into the buffer
that was turned off, the RGB display
alternately appears and disappears
with each character you type. This is
due to the fact that the entire display
buffer is occupied, even though the
display is turned off.
[ ] 3. Press CNTL X to turn the output of the buffer
back on.

To quickly clear the Buffer Output Display,
without exiting the Mix buffer settings, press
BUILD. The buffer output display is cleared,
leaving the buffer free for further composition.
