RGB Tools 21-20 Revision D
[ ] 6. When recording is complete, Press Q or select
Quit to exit the RGB Message Record window
and return to the RGB Tools main menu:
After a Record, the message directory defaults to the cur-
rent Message Compose directory, not the last directory
entered. Additionally, the current description remains in
the
Description: field. This allows you to modify the
image as many times as necessary without having to re-
enter the description each time a Record is executed.
An RGB message can also be recorded to a SCSI Express
drive (
W, X, Y, or Z), which allows fast Reads and
Records of Still files. When recorded, it is automatically
converted into a Still. When the Still is read back from a
SCSI Express drive while in RGB Tools, there is no loss
of information, and the image can be worked on as usual
and rerecorded as an RGB message on one of the other
drives, or as a Still on a SCSI Express drive. See the
SCSI Express documentation for more information on
this feature.
