After executing Multiple Effects, you may want to keep
an image(s) on screen, while changing another image(s).
For example, a Transform can leave an image on screen
after it finishes execution. In addition, in Buffer 1, a
Wipe can leave a message on screen. In Buffer 2, there
can be a logo that you want to keep on screen along with
the Transform image. To
Wipe to the next message,
while keeping the Transform image and logo displayed:
[ ] 1. Place the cursor on the buffer
1 row in the
Mesg column. Press CLR, then enter the new
message ID number. Press
.
It is important to enter the ID number of the
new message that you want to display,
otherwise the old message will reappear on
execution.
[ ] 2. Place the cursor on the buffer
2 row in the Buf
column. Press
or SPACE BAR, or click to
remove the highlight.
Buffer 2 is now deactivated.
[ ] 3. Press
READ NEXT.
The
Wipe executes to this new message. The
message ID number in the buffer 1
Mesg field
advances by 1.
What has just happened is that you executed a
Read Effect in the activated buffer (
1), while
all other buffers and the Transform remained
unaffected.
[ ] 4. To execute additional Read Effects operations
using a sequence of messages, press
READ
NEXT
as many times as necessary to display
them.
