[ ] 3. Change the active buffer back to the one that is
assigned to CHANNEL A.
[ ] 4. If the active buffer is not changed back to the
one that is assigned to CHANNEL A, the
entire message is not recorded.
[ ] 5. Press
CLR, then enter a message ID number
using the Address Keypad.
[ ] 6. Press
CNTL RCD D.
When reading back a Dual Channel Message, it is impor-
tant to execute the
READ function while in the active
buffer that is assigned to CHANNEL A (i.e the CHAN-
NEL in which it was recorded). Otherwise, the message
does not display as you expect.

To record a custom palette:
[ ] 1. Create a custom palette.

[ ] 2. Press CLR, then enter a message ID number
using the Address Keypad.
[ ] 3. Press
CNTL RCD P.
When the Palette message is read, the current palette is
overwritten by the recorded palette.
The palette can also be recorded or read from within the
Palette window (§10.3.6).
Individual subpalettes can also be recorded or read from
within the Subpalette menu (§10.4.3).
