A 16 X 9 function allows you to automatically scale a
graphic for
16 X 9 display, making it easier to create
graphics for playback in 16 x 9 format.
If
16 X 9 is activated, the aspect ratio of the RGB Tools
Scale function is automatically set to .75. Note that the
Scale Control menu contains its own
16 X 9 icon. This
allows for the quick scaling of RGB graphics for 16 X 9,
without the need to use the global function in the Mes-
sage Compose Setup.
To set aspect ratio to
16 X 9:
[ ] 1. From within the Scale Control menu, press
H
or select 16 X 9. The icon becomes
highlighted.
[ ] 2. Press
S or select Size. The Scale menu is
displayed. Note that the
X ratio specifies .0750.
[ ] 3. Click on
Q or select QUIT.
[ ] 4. The Scale Control window returns. Click on
EXECUTE or click X. The new aspect ratio is
applied.
To set aspect ratio to
4 X 3,
[ ] 1. From within the Scale Control menu, press
H
or select 4 X 3. The icon becomes
unhighlighted.
[ ] 2. Press
S or select Size. The Scale menu is
displayed. Note that the
X ratio specifies 1.000.
[ ] 3. Click on
Q or select QUIT.
[ ] 4. The Scale Control window returns. Click on
EXECUTE or click X. The new aspect ratio is
applied.
