To exit Flash Font Convert without making any
changes the character(s), press
ESC. This undoes
any conversion(s) performed during the current entry
into the Flash Font Convert window.

Available Operating System memory, contiguous Operat-
ing System memory, available Font memory and contigu-
ous Font memory can be displayed:
From the Message Compose main menu, press

The memory is displayed on the Prompt Line in the fol-
lowing format:
OS: Available (Contiguous) FONT: Available (Contiguous)

On-line converted (Flash Font) material cannot be
used in Clock or Timer displays.
Messages containing text converted on-line is
recorded the same as any message. However, the on-
line font data is stored with the text - a separate font
file is not created.
Messages containing characters created on-line take
longer to read than messages using pre-loaded
Machine Fonts. Messages containing Flash Font
characters also consume more memory. It is recom-
mended that if a message contains a large amount of
Flash Font data, or a number of messages contain the
same Flash Font data, that the Flash Font(s) be con-
verted to a Machine Font(s).
