conversion.
[ ] 9.
Master Font Selection: Press L or select List
to display available Master Fonts. Enter the
font ID number or use the cursor keys to select
a font. Press
to load the font into the system
and replace the currently selected text
(character, word, row) on the screen. If
necessary, use the
Change Dir and List functions
to change font directories.
[ ] 10. When all changes are entered, press
CNVRT
(FLASH)
. The prompt Conversion In
Progress
appears. When conversion is
complete, the outlined text takes on its final
solid appearance.
[ ] 11. Change settings and execute the conversion as
often as needed.
After a conversion, most fields reset to
0. This represents
a new starting point for all future conversions. For exam-
ple, if a
30-scanline character was changed to 100 by
entering
70 in the Size: field, the Size: field will once
again show
0 when the conversion is complete.
• To convert another character(s) on the current screen,
press
M or select Move Cursor. Use the cursor keys
to move the edit cursor to a new position, then press
CNTL to return to On-Line mode.
The converted text can be recorded, in its original mes-
sage, in the same way as any other message.
CNTL RCD
functions such as Text Only (
T), End Of Row (E), or One
Row (
R) can also be used.
• To exit from the Flash Font Convert, press
CNTL Q
or select
Quit.
