Revision D 12-17 Function Keys
To record one Function Key to disk while in the Function
Key List:
[ ] 1. Make sure the cursor is in the
Step column,
then press
RCD. The Record Message window
(Figure 12-6) is displayed.

[ ] 2. Enter a message ID in the File ID: field, then
press

You may record ALL Function Key(s) to disk in two dif-
ferent ways:
s; this performs the same operation as
CNTL RCD F exe-
cuted from the Message Compose main menu.
From within the Function Key List, Press
E or select
Record All (found on the second page of function
icons); enter the message ID number under which
they will be stored, then press
.
OR...
Exit from the Function Key list. Enter a message
number on the Address Keypad, then press
CNTL
RCD F
. All Function Key sequences set in the 10
Function Keys are saved to the entered message ID
location.

A Function Key sequence can be saved as you type it,
from within the Message Compose main menu. This is
known as Keystroke Capture. You can use it either to
make a list from scratch, or to add new keystrokes to an
existing list.
