NOTE
Roll Field Compensation Disable may
reduce flicker, but increase waviness
during Special Roll execution. It is
generally more effective when used
on a PAL system.
Roll Field Compensation cannot be
disabled in Multiple Effects Rolls or
Intelligent Interface Rolls.
To disable Roll Field Compensation:
• Press
D at any time while building the Roll Control
Buffer list.
Roll Field Compensation Disabled
appears on the Prompt Line.
To enable Roll Field Compensation:
• Press
D at any time while building the Roll Control
Buffer list.
Roll Field Compensation Enabled
appears on the Prompt Line.
Roll field Compensation can also be set during Special
Roll execution. To toggle between
Disabled and
Enabled:
• Press
ALT D. Roll Field Compensation Disabled/
Enabled
appears on the Prompt Line.
The Roll Field Compensation setting that is set either in
the Roll Control Buffer list or during Special Roll execu-
tion is recorded with the Roll message. The default set-
ting is
Enabled.

rolled message remains on screen throughout the Roll.
