There are three ways to execute Fade. All numerical data
is entered using the Address Keypad.
To fade in a message:
[ ] 1. Select
In in the Fade field, and set the Percent
slider to 0 (§9.6.1.2).
[ ] 2. Enter the message ID number, then press
READ.
[ ] 3. Press
X or select Execute to fade in the
message.
[ ] 4. If you like, press
X or select Execute again to
fade it out.
To fade out the message that is on the screen:
[ ] 1. Select
Out in the Fade field, and set the
Percent slider to 100 (§9.6.1.2).
[ ] 2. Enter the message ID number, then press
READ to display the message.
[ ] 3. Press
X or select Execute to fade out the
message.
[ ] 4. If you like, press
X or select Execute again to
fade it in.
To fade in and out a sequence of messages:
[ ] 1. Select
Out/In in the Fade field, and set the
Percent slider to 100 (§9.6.1.2).
[ ] 2. Enter the message ID number of the first
message to fade in, then press
READ NEXT.
This loads the message into the
READ NEXT
buffer (§8.4.9).
